This Mishimoto radiator is a direct OEM replacement, making installation effortless as no cutting or modifications are needed. Included in the package is a 1.3 bar high-pressure radiator cap. This radiator cap increases the boiling point of the coolant, providing a higher margin for acceptable temperatures and creating a safer and more efficient cooling system. Additionally, a magnetic Mishimoto drain plug is included, which collects metallic fragments circulating in the cooling system, protecting your engine. Note: This product is for vehicles with a manual transmission. For automatic vehicles, please purchase the Mishimoto radiator: MMTC-U. For 2015 STI models, there will be some clearance between the overflow tank and the pump.Radiator Cap:
The included Mishimoto radiator cap should be used to replace the manufacturer cap on the expansion tank. The manufacturer radiator cap connected to the radiator should be used for the Mishimoto performance radiator. The Mishimoto radiator cap is a two-way valve, whereas the manufacturer radiator cap is a one-way valve. Due to this design difference, the Mishimoto radiator cap cannot be used for this radiator. Using the Mishimoto radiator cap on the radiator can lead to overheating.

Attention:
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure all thermostat connections, NPT fittings, line fittings, and other connections are fully tightened before using the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially after the first few miles following installation. Please contact us for further technical questions.
