Unlike other sandwich plates with 4-way connection options, the BOOST Products oil filter/oil cooler sandwich plate also fits large oil filters (see last image)!

BOOST products universal sandwich plate with integrated 82°C thermostat and 2 compactly arranged, generously sized M22x1.5 threaded holes. Additionally, two -08 AN / Dash 8 ORB female port exist at a 45° angle.
In contrast to other oil filter adapter plates, the BOOST products oil filter sandwich plate has a 1/8" NPT internal thread on each side! This allows for space-saving and flexible connection of an oil cooler and up to two sensors (oil temperature, oil pressure).
In case of space constraints, it is also possible to interchange the oil line connections and connect the oil cooler to the 45° inclined 3/4" UNF connections. Two extension screws for connecting the OEM oil filter in M20x1.5mm and 3/4-16UNF, two -08 AN / Dash 8 sealing plugs, and two thread adapters from M22x1.5mm to -10AN / Dash 10 are included. The adapters are manufactured using highly precise CNC machines and meet the highest quality standards.
The thermostat allows only 1% of the oil volume to circulate through the oil cooler when closed and opens up to 100% upon reaching the opening temperature. In contrast, sandwich plates from other manufacturers/providers allow 1/3 of the oil to flow through the cooler even when the thermostat is closed. In colder outside temperatures, this can result in the oil never reaching the desired operating temperature.

There is no IN and OUT for the 10AN Adapters...it is pressurized in one direction so it will flow based off pressure. It does not matter which end goes to the cooler or which side of the cooler, it will push itself through in the only direction it flows.

BOOST products fittings, hoses and thread adapters are suitable for a wide variety of applications such as use on oil, water, and fuel lines and are resistant to E85 and methanol. The fittings and adapters are CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum or stainless steel and conform to U.S. specification AN d JIC industry standards. The matching hydraulic hoses to the fittings are available in different versions (nylon or stainless steel braiding, also with reinforced insert or as PTFE version). The self-sealing system originates from the defense and aerospace industries and has been successfully used in motor sports for decades. Thanks to the unique screw connections, the hoses are tight and pressure-resistant up to 650 bar (depends on size and type) without the need for press tools. All BOOST products hydraulic hoses were E85 and Methanol resistent. The hose fittings are screwed together with the matching hydraulic hoses.

Generally recommended for turbocharger applications (oil/water lines) is -04 AN / Dash 4 for oil feed lines and -10 AN / Dash 10 for oil return lines. Other hose/pipe systems, such as water or fuel lines are best selected according to the specifications of the existing connections and manufacturers recommendations. Unlike other suppliers, BOOST products also offers rotatable fittings with the designation "swivel", they are still completely rotatable after assembly. This is essential for easy assembly and often not available from cheap suppliers. We recommend depending on the application to make at least one side rotatable (swivel).
