JE's patented Perfect Skirt coating makes piston slap, false knock, and cold-start wear a thing of the past. For the first time ever, 2618-alloy pistons can be installed with piston-to-wall clearances near that of an OEM piston!
We supply original JE forged pistons. The pistons are forged from high-strength material and often have a special coating (depending on the option) and are specially designed for high performance turbo engines! All JE pistons in the set have the same weight. Avoid cheap piston offers and trust in adequate brand quality. A damaged / broken piston is an expensive mistake!
- Forged pistons adapted to each engine, optimized and uniformly piston thickness
- Extra grooves to minimize frictional resistance
- Detonation grooves for increased stability and sealing of the upper ring
- CNC-machined piston skirt, with lower reinforcements for additional strength
- Bore of piston pin, honed, additional oil holes on the piston skirt for better lubrication of the piston pin
- JE ProSeal piston rings and piston pin retaining clips are included
