ARP Ultra-Torque has been specially developed for installing ARP studs and bolts. Without proper lubrication or when using oil, the required preload is often not achieved, leading to damage due to friction (metal on metal) on the contact surfaces. For precise and secure installation, it is highly recommended to use ARP Ultra-Torque to achieve the necessary tightening torque.
The ARP lubricant minimizes friction, ensuring that the bolts reach their optimal preload during the first tightening cycle. Even after repeated tightening and loosening, the preload remains consistent and reliable. The metal-free formula also protects against rust and corrosion, enabling particularly gentle installation.
