Titanium fasteners for all flange types (turbo manifold, turbocharger, downpipe, exhaust)
Note: Titanium Grade 5 studs are suitable for cylinder heads, engine blocks, exhaust systems, and downpipe connections. Titanium is not suitable for direct use on turbocharger flanges (flange between the exhaust manifold and the turbocharger). This is because:
- Tensile strength and yield strength decrease significantly at high temperatures (above 600°C)
- Under continuous load and heat, the clamping force can be reduced which cause risk of leaks
- Titanium forms brittle oxide layers at high temperatures

This allows you to properly clamp the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head or your turbocharger to the turbo manifold without experiencing sealing problems, stud/nut failure, or unsightly and troublesome rust and corrosion.
