20-33N*M is recommended for all straight fittings and eyelets. Do not exceed the maximum range of 47N*M.
This oil cooler kit will only fit models with a single-scroll turbo and unequal length header (header pipes of unequal length). Models with a twin-scroll turbo and equal length header (header pipes of equal length) are likely not compatible with this oil cooler kit.
It is the installer’s responsibility to check that all plugs, fittings, clamps, and all other connections are properly tightened before putting the vehicle into operation. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few kilometers after installation. Please contact us for additional technical information.

The included direct-fit mounting brackets and pre-assembled stainless steel lines with -10AN fittings ensure an easy and hassle-free installation. This cooler has been proven to reduce oil temperature by 16°C with minimal pressure loss. For additional heat protection, this kit includes heat shield tape for the oil lines, providing significant heat shielding from the nearby header. The Mishimoto Subaru STI oil cooler kit can be selected with either a black or silver cooler and an optional sandwich plate with or without a thermostat depending on personal preferences.
