The screw-in adapter can be used to connect a push on hose to a female threaded port. The hose is fitted to the hose connector and fastened with a hose clamp. The adapter is screwed into the port. A copper ring is required to seal the adapter. The thread has no conical tip and is not suitable to be connected to hydraulic fittings.
