When and how do I clean my Pipercross Performance Air Filter?
One of the key advantages of Pipercross air filters is that, even when dirty, they still allow more airflow compared to cotton or paper filters. The dirt is trapped by the unique foam surface, while fresh intake air continues to flow through.
We recommend cleaning it after 15,000 - 20,000 km or once a year. The best time to clean the air filter is around late May/June after the pollen season, as this is when the filter is most burdened.
We offer a special cleaning solution for the filter. Aggressive cleaners such as gasoline, cleaning solvents, brake cleaners, etc., should never be used as they can damage the material.
Approval / TÜV
This kit comes with a certificate for modification approval according to StVZO § 19 Abs. 3 and can be easily registered. The combination with the Milltek ECE exhaust system "MSTY112-113" (E24*59R02/01/B*0015*00) has been tested and can be installed as an option alongside the stock exhaust system. Compatibility with other add-on parts has not been tested and must be discussed with an expert/inspection engineer beforehand – unfortunately, we cannot provide information on this.
