TDI engines have always struggled with high oil temperatures right from the factory. When driving in the heat of summer or if your vehicle has been performance-optimized, temperatures of 140°C are not uncommon. The oil cooler flange connects the engine to the oil cooler kit. The oil cooler kit prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring consistent oil pressure and optimal oil quality. This positively impacts the lifespan of your TDI engine.
