Turboblanket for Heat Isolation
Protection and Performance Increasing
PTP Turbo Blankets isolate the heat produced by your turbocharger with the purpose of reducing turbo lag, cooler air intake temperatures, protecting and prolonging engine components, and giving a boost in horsepower.
In keeping the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger and away from the cool side of the turbocharger and the intake path, more oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine, and thus, more power.
PTP turbocharger heat shield blankets were tested at the University of Austin Texas 2016 for a study. Link to the study
The results speak for themselves. The PTP Turbocharger blankets improved the efficiency and the thermodynamic performance of the engine in all its aspects. Improved turbocharger response, bearing housing temperatures remained almost unchanged, improved spool-up time after the shift, reduced pressure drop during the shifting process, and thermal relief of the components outside the turbine housing clearly demonstrated why a PTP turbo blanket always should be used.

With an outer layer made from silicone impregnated fiberglass, these turbo blankets are internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool, overlaid with a high temperature mesh. The PTP Hyundai Genesis Turbo Blankets are designed to fit all stock Hyundai Genesis turbochargers.

Protection and Performance Increasing
PTP Turbo Blankets isolate the heat produced by your turbocharger with the purpose of reducing turbo lag, cooler air intake temperatures, protecting and prolonging engine components, and giving a boost in horsepower.
In keeping the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger and away from the cool side of the turbocharger and the intake path, more oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine, and thus, more power.
PTP turbocharger heat shield blankets were tested at the University of Austin Texas 2016 for a study. Link to the study
The results speak for themselves. The PTP Turbocharger blankets improved the efficiency and the thermodynamic performance of the engine in all its aspects. Improved turbocharger response, bearing housing temperatures remained almost unchanged, improved spool-up time after the shift, reduced pressure drop during the shifting process, and thermal relief of the components outside the turbine housing clearly demonstrated why a PTP turbo blanket always should be used.

With an outer layer made from silicone impregnated fiberglass, these turbo blankets are internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool, overlaid with a high temperature mesh. The PTP Hyundai Genesis Turbo Blankets are designed to fit all stock Hyundai Genesis turbochargers.
