Aluminium coated mat made of Mylar / boPET
the heat ScreenTM heat shield with self-adhesive backing is an excellent way to reflect unwanted heat and conduct it away from areas and surfaces that require protection. With a thickness of 1.52mm, the heat ScreenTM heat shield requires a minimum gap dimension and is able to withstand radiant heat of up to around 1,100°C. the heat ScreenTM heat shield can be used as a heat shield or as a heat shield. Ideal for protecting body panels, floor panels, fuel tanks, fairings and for use under the carpet to name a few uses. Suitable for racing vehicles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, quads, trucks, wastegates, camping vehicles, marine, aerospace and industrial applications.
This mat is comparable to our thicker heat protection mat for riveting or screwing. But not with the thinner aluminium fabric mats.
Properties:
- Withstands about 650°C direct heat
- reverse side coated with a high temperature adhesive
- Excellent protection for painted surfaces
- Can be cut to the desired size
