The competition charge air cooler has the following core dimensions (500mm x 254mm x 110[55]mm / stepped = 11.3 cm³) and thus offers an 83% larger inflow area and 62% more charge air volume compared to the original charge air cooler. The newly developed competition high performance core guarantees sufficient air flow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (7.4kg). Free-Form end tanks developed in CAD with cast aluminium inner baffles for the best possible internal air flow. Overall, this charge air cooler has less back pressure than the production cooler. In addition, all our charge air coolerss have an anti-corrosion coating with good thermal dissipation properties. This guarantees optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. The installation is carried out by exchanging the OEM charge air cooler and is easy to carry out. Wagner-Tuning products are subject to continuous qualitative monitoring.
