Fuel / coolant temperature sensor 150°C / M14x1.5mm

Bosch Performance sensor for measuring water or fuel temperature

Compatible with our Displays / Gauges

Often with engine sensors, exhaust temperature measurement is the primary focus, but it’s equally important to monitor boost pressure, intake air, intercooler, or ambient temperature.

This sensor is designed to measure the temperature of liquids such as oil, water, or fuel. The signal can be used either as a control value for engine control units or as a measurement value logged in a data acquisition system.
The NTC element (Negative Temperature Coefficient) has a negative temperature coefficient, meaning conductivity increases as temperature rises. The measuring element of the temperature sensor consists of semiconductor heavy metal oxide and oxidized mixed crystals, protected within a housing.
The main advantage of this sensor lies in its combination of high-quality construction and a robust, compact design.

NTC thermistors have a negative temperature coefficient, meaning their electrical conductivity increases with rising temperature (they are thermistors): their resistance decreases. The conductive element of the temperature sensor consists of semiconducting heavy metal oxides and oxidized mixed crystals, pressed or sintered into a disk or bead form using binders and provided with a protective housing.
Combined with suitable evaluation circuits, these thermistors allow for precise temperature determination. Depending on the housing type, these sensors are suitable for measuring temperatures in liquids and gases. In vehicles, they measure the temperature of engine oil, coolant, fuel, intake air, and gas, in a range from -40 to 150°C.

Note:
For a 2-pin connector, 1 connector housing, 2 contact pins, and 2 individual seals are required.
Original AMP/Tyco crimp tools should be used for applications in the automotive sector.
