ACL main bearings, are special 3-material bearing shells (unlike the OE series with 2-material) and optimal for performance engines. Due to the special coatings, these bearings have an emergency running property, so that even if the lubrication for a fraction is no longer guaranteed, the coating prevents the crankshaft is damaged.

ACL Race Series performance engine bearings are manufactured to exacting tolerances. Micron tolerance machining supported by precision measurement systems delivers consistent accuracy to key characteristics like wall thickness and crush. This ensures reliable fit and helps maintain consistent clearances. ACL Race Series performance engine bearings feature increased eccentricity to increase improve shape adaptation to compensate for bore distortion at high speed operation.
