This silicone hose is a charge air hose made of silicone reinforced with fabric to remain extremely pressure and vacuum resistant. They are pressure resistant up to 5 bar and temperature resistant up to 220°C. In contrast to the original rubber used, the silicone is extremely weather-resistant and lasts correspondingly longer under high stress. Actually a vehicle life long.
