Necessary for oil pressure above 3 bar
The oil restictor is mandatory for all ball-bearing turbochargers GT25 to GT35 on engines with more than 3 bar oil pressure in the full load range. If this is not used, bearing damage is not far away.
The adapter has the special M11x1 thread on the turbocharger side and a M14x1.5 or 8L thread on the other side, which is used with the VW Audi 1.8T oil supply lines. The adapter is also suitable if you have previously driven a T3 T4 turbocharger with our adapter and cable. Because there is the same thread available. There is a 0.9mm hole in the adapter for pressure reduction- Forsafety reasons we recommend our oil inlet filters, which retain small dirt particles in the oil and thus prevent clogging of the adapter.
