The HJS Catalyst Technology:
HJS offers a universal, unregulated catalyst system with 100 cpsi For motor sports. The different displacement classes of the motor sports vehicles are each assigned a corresponding catalytic converter with a specially matched catalytic converter volume.
Ultralight catalyst reduces weight by up to 30 %:
Weight is a decisive criterion for the selection of components in motor sports. With the new, ultra-light metal carrier it is possible to reduce the total weight of the FIA motorsport catalytic converters homologated by HJS by up to 30%. The thickness of the catalyst shell can be reduced from 1.5 mm to 0.5 mm by using the new three-dimensional bionic structure. In combination with the already used perforateded film (PE), this results in a serious weight advantage of over 50% compared to competitor products. The smaller difference between the heat capacities of the steel foil matrix and the jacket is another advantage of the ultra-light catalysts. This doubles the durability under the extremely high thermal shock loads which are common in motor sports.
